My verdict: Thumbs Down

Oh. My. Gosh. These were so delicious and “Crack Potatoes” is the perfect name for this recipe! We are so excited to have half left over in the freezer, just waiting to be eaten. My mouth is watering thinking about it. You HAVE to try these.

Ingredients

  • 2 Containers Sour Cream (16oz each)
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 bags Bacon Bits (3oz each)
  • 2 Packages Ranch Dip Mix
  • 1 Package Frozen Shredded Hash Browns (26-32oz)

Note

Per the author's suggestion, I cut this recipe in half, by using (2) 9x9 pans, put one in the freezer and cooked the other pan for about 40 minutes.

Directions

Step 1 Preheat oven to 400º.
Step 2 Combine first 4 ingredients, then mix in hash browns.
Step 3 Spread into a 9x13 pan and bake, uncovered, for 45-60 minutes.
